Multi-cultural Environment.

Student mobility is an essential part of the Tecnológico de Monterrey’s vision and plays a major role in cooperation, exchange and integration processes among institutions of Further Education around the world.

In order to help bring students into closer contact with the world around them, the Tecnológico de Monterrey has been working to promote a cultural academic environment throughout its campuses by attracting international students. In 2014, some 4,483 international students from 73 different countries studied at the institution.

Internationalization has become a means of driving social transformation and increasing the scope of the learning process. The Tecnológico de Monterrey is one of the universities with the greatest number of international academic cooperation agreements in Latin America.

It is of the utmost importance for us to encourage a global outlook among our students by promoting cultural and academic exchanges with and among students from a wide range of different nationalities. The following map shows the percentage of foreign students by country who studied at one of our campuses during 2014.
