Tec alumnus designs bionic prosthetics with sensory feedback

A significant step towards a more natural control of prosthetic limbs has been taken by Tecnológico de Monterrey Toluca Campus alumnus Max Ortiz-Catalán, who heads a team of researchers from Chalmers University of Technology and the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. The group has developed neuromuscular interface-controlled arm prosthetics, capable of giving the amputee sensory feedback, such as touch. Ver más
