Laparoscopic surgery simulator developed

The Center for Innovation in Design and Technology and the Center for Medical-Surgical Skills at the Tecnológico de Monterrey's School of Medicine and Health Sciences have teamed to create a low-cost laparoscopic surgery simulator which uses virtual technology to develop the skills demanded by this procedure in more doctors and curb the number of invasive surgeries. Neighbors and students mingle at Movimiento Tec event

Roughly 200 Monterrey Campus student groups and personnel took part April 20 in an encounter with neighbors from the 11 streets that make up the Tecnológico neighborhood and that are taking part in the Monterrey Campus and Tec District Transformation project, which aims to generate a safer, more dynamic, attractive, and aspirational community.
