Per Kristiansen is one of LEGO®'s two MASTER TRAINERS, in addition to being responsible for the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Master Trainer Association and currently Chairman of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Advisory Board, and member of "Dare2 Advisory Support".

Mr. Kristiansen arrived at the Tecnológico de Monterrey's Santa Fe Campus to offer the "Building a Better Business Using the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®  Method" workshop and talk, during which the 130 attendees were able to learn about and practice the basic elements of this method.

LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® is the result of over 15 years of work. It was born as an idea to be used within the LEGO Corporation. The methodology was successful in developing individuals' potential, so LEGO® decided to share it with the world as a means of carrying out business strategies, Mr. Kristiansen explained. What it is used for is for building answers.

If someone had a question, he explained, he or she could use LEGO® to build his/her own version of the answer and share it with the team. Thus, metaphors can be used to express emotions, ideas, and concepts that complement the understanding of each issue.

It is through this knowledge-building process that top management, managers, and executives can connect ideas that are disconnected in the brain and generate new learning.
